The trend continues, people keep fleeing blue states and rightfully so. People have had enough of the mandates, the high taxes, the surging crime and are looking for a better quality of life. Where are they going? Red States where we appreciate freedom and liberty.

In an article from The Epoch Times, it states that Democrat run New York has was the number 1 state for population loss according to the Census data from 2021, with 320,000 people leaving the state and the other liberal sh*t hole being California with 262,000 residents getting out of dodge. Sorry, California is my birth state and it will always hold a place in my heart but I identify as Texan. The blue state of Illinois followed with 114,000 less people.

Clay Travis of Outkick had this to say on the matter of people fleeing blue states:

“I want to build on this in a moment, but these are the states that added population: Texas, Florida, Arizona, North Carolina, Georgia, South Carolina, Utah, Tennessee, Idaho, and Nevada. Almost all of those states red states. What is going on here with the great sorting of America?”

“I was talking about the fact that where I live in the Nashville area, I meet people all the time that are moving into my neighborhood. I live in an area called Franklin, Tennessee, which is just south of Nashville about 15 or 20 miles in Williamson County. And our schools have stayed open. We were open all last year.

“And so as a result been a lot of parents and a lot of families that have moved here. And what I see is New York, California, and Illinois, most commonly, Chicago area is where people are bailing on Illinois, and I asked ’em why they came here, and they all say, to a person, man and woman, they moved because they were finally fed up with the politics and COVID was the tipping point.”

I wrote about this matter in July, I believe Texas is not being ruined by people fleeing blue states.

U.S. Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia has come out with the idea that it might be time for a national divorce or maybe even tax an not let liberals coming into blue states vote some time. Democrats however were not thrilled about the idea although they want to allow illegals to vote.

All possible in a National Divorce scenario.
After Democrat voters and big donors ruin a state like California, you would think it wise to stop them from doing it to another great state like Florida.

Now the idea of a national divorce is something that seems more likely now than I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. We are extremely divided and us conservatives don’t want anything to do with destructive liberal policies. The pandemic made it very clear where each party stands: Democrats are the party of lockdowns, mandates and defunding the police. Republicans are the party of freedom, personal responsibility and law and order.

It was red states who carried the economy back from the economic downturn we had due to the China virus while blue states lagged in getting life back to normal. It’s funny that I hardly think about visiting blue states when planning for vacations. Subconsciously, Democrat-run states automatically have an X on them.
