The most recent inflation report came out and it is not good:

Consumer prices in October rose 6.2% compared year over year and 0.9% from the previous month. Both of those numbers are higher than expected. (5.9% and 06%)

Gas prices surged another 12.3% for the month and up nearly 60% compared to a year ago. The cost of fuel is $3.42 per gallon which is a 7 year high. In California the price is $4.65 a gallon.

Used car prices ticked up another 2.5% for the month and 26% for the year. New cars 1.4% and 9.8%. Energy costs were up 4.8% month over month and a whopping 30% for the year.

Food prices rose 0.9% and 5.3% per CNBC.

This comes as there are still supply chain issues. According to The Washington Free Beacon, a record 111 ships are still stuck outside of California ports.

On the immigration front, thousands of employees working to protect our borders face termination over Biden’s tyrannical vaccine mandate.

“There are just a lot of agents who are refusing to get the vaccine,” one Border Patrol agent told Free Beacon . “There’s a 50/50 chance they’re all just going to get fired or placed on leave without pay. The union is involved, but not sure there is much for them to stand on.”

President of the National Border Patrol Council had this to say on the matter:

“We can’t lose anybody and expect to secure the border. So we do believe this vaccine mandate—while we will encourage people to get vaccinated, we fully support the individual’s right to choose what they put in their body, especially as the ‘science’ changes so often,” “So we support the agent’s right to choose on the vaccine and what goes into their body, but at the same time, I think the administration is doing this wrong, because we just can’t afford to lose anybody.”

Nothing this administration does makes sense. Over 1.7 million border apprehensions were made in fiscal year 2021, now the very people who are working hard to protect this country are faced with choosing their livelihoods or putting something into their bodies they may not want for religious reasons, health reasons, have natural immunity or just flat out do not trust it.

I just wonder how much worse this is going to get between now and November 2022.
